punar aparaṃ śāriputra tatra buddhakṣetre santi haṃsāḥ krauñcā mayūrāś ca / te triṣkṛtvā rātrau triṣkṛtvā divasasya saṃnipatya saṃgītiṃ kurvanti svakasvakāni ca rutāni pravyāharanti / teṣāṃ pravyāharatām indriyabalabodhyaṅgaśabdo niścarati / tatra teṣāṃ manuṣyāṇāṃ taṃ śabdaṃ śrutvā buddhamanasikāra utpadyate dharmamanasikāra utpadyate saṃghamanasikāra utpadyate /
また、次に、シャーリプトラよ、かしこの仏国土には、白鳥や帝釈鴫や孔雀たちがいる。それらは、夜に三度、昼に三度、集まって合唱をなし、また各々の調べをさえずる。それらがさえずるとき、〔五〕根・〔五〕力・〔七〕覚支という声が流れ出る。その声を聞いて、かしこにおけるかの人々には、仏に対する思念が起こり、法に対する思念が起こり、僧団に対する思念が起こる。
§6. 'And again, O Śāriputra, there are in that Buddha country swans, curlews, and peacocks. Three times every night, and three times every day, they come together and perform a concert, each uttering his own note. And from them thus uttering proceeds a sound proclaiming the five virtues, the five powers, and the seven steps leading towards the highest knowledge. When the men there hear that sound, remembrance of Buddha, remembrance of the Law, remembrance of the Church, rises in there mind.
ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་དེ་ནི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་གི་ཡོན་ཏན་བཀོད་པ་རྣམ་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་དག་གིས་ལེགས་པར་བརྒྱན་པའོ། །ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་གཞན་ཡང་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་བདེ་བ་ཅན་ན་ངང་པ་དང་། ཁྲུང་ཁྲུང་དང་། རྨ་བྱ་དག་ཡོད་པ་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་ཉིན་ལན་གསུམ། མཚན་ལན་གསུམ་འདུས་ནས་ཡང་དག་པར་བགྲོ་བར་བྱེད་དེ། རང་རང་གི་སྐད་དག་གིས་སྨྲའོ། །དེ་དག་སྨྲ་བ་ན་དབང་པོ་དང་སྟོབས་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་ཡན་ལག་གི་སྒྲ་དག་འབྱུང་ངོ་། །

舎利子よ、その仏国土には仏国土の功徳荘厳の種類が、そのようなものなどを以てよく荘厳してある。舎利子よ、他に又極楽世界には雁と、鶴と、孔雀などがあって、それらもまた書三度夜三度集って正しく逍遥して各々の音声を以て歌ふ。それらが歌えば（五）根と（五）力と（七）菩提支の声等が生ずる。
Śāriputra, this buddha realm is beautifully adorned by such displays of the excellences of buddha realms. “Furthermore, Śāriputra, in the Sukhāvatī world there are swans, cranes, and peacocks that assemble three times during the day and three times at night and perform a concert, each singing its own melody. When they sing, the sounds of the powers, strengths, and branches of enlightenment emerge.
復次舎利弗。彼国常有種種奇妙雑色之鳥。白鵠孔雀鸚鵡舎利迦陵頻伽共命之鳥。是諸衆鳥。昼夜六時出和雅音。其音演暢五根五力七菩提分八聖道分如是等法。其土衆生聞是音已。皆悉念仏念法念僧。
又舎利子。極楽世界浄仏土中。常有種種奇妙可愛雑色衆鳥。所謂鵝鴈鶖鷺。鴻鶴孔雀。鸚鵡羯羅頻迦。命命鳥等。如是衆鳥。昼夜六時恒共集会。出和雅声。随其類音宣揚妙法。所謂甚深念住正断。神足根力。覚道支等。無量妙法。彼土衆生聞是声已。各得念仏念法念僧。無量功徳熏修其身。
