namaḥ sarvajñāya // evaṃ mayā śrutam ekasmin samaye bhagavāñ śrāvastyāṃ viharati sma jetavane 'nāthapiṇḍadasyārāme mahatā bhikṣusaṃghena sārdham ardhatrayodaśabhir bhikṣuśatair abhijñātābhijñātaiḥ sthavirair mahāśrāvakaiḥ sarvair arhadbhiḥ /

一切智者に帰命したてまつる。 このようにわたくしは聞いた。あるとき、世尊はシュラーヴァスティー（舎衛城）にあるジェータ林（祇樹）・アナータピンダダ園（給孤独園）の中で、千二百五十人の比丘からなる大勢の比丘僧団と一緒に滞在しておられた。〔これらの比丘たちは〕非常に有名であり、長老で、偉大な声聞（弟子）であり、すべて、阿羅漢たちであった。

§1. Thus it was heard by me: At one time the Blessed (Bhagavat, i.e. Buddha) dwelt at Śrāvastī, in the Jeta-grove, in the garden of Anāthapiṇḍaka, together with a large company of Bhikshus (mendicant friars), viz. with twelve hundred and fifty Bhikshus, all of them acquainted with the five kinds of knowledge, elders, great disciples, and Arhats,

སངས་རྒྱས་དང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཐམས་ ཅད་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། ། ། འདི་སྐད་བདག་གིས་ཐོས་པ་དུས་གཅིག་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མཉན་ཡོད་ན། རྒྱལ་བུ་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་གྱི་ཀུན་དགའ་ར་བ་ན། དགེ་སློང་སྟོང་ཉིས་བརྒྱ་ལྔ་བཅུའི་དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་ཆེན་པོ་གནས་བརྟན་ཉན་ཐོས་ ཆེན་པོ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཤ་སྟག་ལ་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ།

sangs rgyas dang byang chub sems dpa' thams cad la phyag 'tshal lo // 'di skad bdag gis thos pa dus gcig na / bcom ldan 'das mnyan yod na / rgyal bu rgyal byed kyi tshal mgon med zas sbyin gyi kun dga' ra ba na / dge slong stong nyis brgya lnga bcu'i dge slong gi dge 'dun chen po gnas brtan nyan thos [D195b5] chen po dgra bcom pa sha stag la 'di lta ste /

諸仏諸菩薩に礼拝し奉る。 このように私は聞きました、或時世尊は舎衛国祇陀太子の園、（祇園精舎）即ち無主施食といふ歓喜苑において千二百五十人の比丘の大沙門、尊宿大声聞阿羅漢のみが居られた。

Homage to all the buddhas and bodhisattvas. Thus did I hear at one time. The Bhagavān was dwelling in Anāthapiṇḍada’s park in the Jeta Grove in Śrāvastī, along with a large monastic saṅgha of 1,250 bhikṣus, all of them great elders, śrāvakas, and arhats,

如是我聞。一時仏在舎衛国祇樹給孤独園。与大比丘僧千二百五十人倶。皆是大阿羅漢。衆所知識。

如是我聞。一時薄伽梵。在室羅筏住誓多林給孤独園。与大苾芻衆千二百五十人倶。一切皆是尊宿声聞。衆望所識。大阿羅漢。
