punar aparaṃ śāriputra sukhāvatyāṃ lokadhātau saptaratna-mayyaḥ puṣkariṇyaḥ / tad yathā suvarṇasya rūpyasya vaiḍūryasya sphaṭikasya lohitamuktasyāśmagarbhasya musāragalvasya saptamasya ratnasya / aṣṭāṅgopetavāriparipūrṇāḥ samatīrthikāḥ kākapeyāḥ suvarṇavālukāsaṃstṛtāḥ /
また、次に、シャーリプトラよ、極楽世界には、七つの宝石すなわち金・銀・瑠璃・水晶・赤真珠・碼碯と、第七の宝石である琥珀とからできているもろもろの蓮池があり、八つの特性ある水が充満し、岸の高さと等しく、烏が飲めるほどであり、金の砂が撒布されている。
§4. 'And again, O Śāriputra, in that world Sukhāvatī there are lotus lakes, adorned with the seven gems, viz. gold, silver, beryl, crystal, red pearls, diamonds, and corals as the seventh. They are full of water which possesses the eight good qualities, their waters rise as high as the fords and bathing-places, so that even crows may drink there; they are strewn with golden sand.
ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་དེ་ནི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བཞི་ལ་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། གསེར་དང་། དངུལ་དང་། བཻ་དཱུརྱ་དང་། ཤེལ་ དང་། རྣམ་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་གི་ཡོན་ཏན་བཀོད་པ་དག་གིས་ལེགས་པར་བརྒྱན་པའོ། །ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་གཞན་ཡང་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་བདེ་བ་ཅན་ན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བདུན་གྱི་རྫིང་ཡན་ལག་བརྒྱད་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཆུས་ཡོངས་སུ་གང་བ། རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་པད་མས་ཁེབས་ པ། བྱ་རོག་གིས་བཏུང་དུ་རུང་བར་ཁ་ད་ཆད་དུ་གྱུར་པ་གསེར་གྱི་བྱེ་མ་བདལ་བ་དག་ཡོད་དེ།
shā ri'i bu sangs rgyas kyi zhing de ni rin po che sna bzhi la 'di lta ste / gser dang / dngul dang / bai dūrya dang / shel dang / rnam pa de lta bu'i sangs rgyas kyi zhing gi yon tan bkod pa dag gis legs par brgyan pa'o // shā ri'i bu gzhan yang 'jig rten gyi khams bde ba can na rin po che sna bdun gyi rdzing yan lag brgyad dang ldan pa'i chus yongs su gang ba / rin po che'i pad mas khebs pa / bya rog gis btung du rung bar kha da chad du gyur pa gser gyi bye ma bdal ba dag yod de /
舎利子よ、その仏国土には七つの宝で次の如く、黃金と、銀と、吠瑠璃と、水晶とこのような種類で仏国土の功徳荘厳などを以てよく飾ってある。舎利子よ、他に又極楽世界において七宝の池には八功徳水が十分に充ちて宝蓮華が覆っている、鳥が飲むに程よく（水）が近くなって居る、金沙が敷かれたものなどがある。
It is radiantly beautiful. Śāriputra, this buddha realm is beautifully adorned with displays of the excellences of buddha realms, such as the four kinds of jewels, namely, gold, silver, beryl, and crystal. Furthermore, Śāriputra, the Sukhāvatī world has ponds adorned with seven kinds of jewels. The ponds are full of water possessing the eight qualities. They are covered by jeweled lotuses, [F.196.b] are filled to the top to enable crows to drink, and are lined with golden sand.
又舎利弗。極楽国土有七宝池。八功徳水充満其中。池底純以金沙布地。
又舎利子。極楽世界浄仏土中。処処皆有七妙宝池。八功徳水弥満其中。何等名為八功徳水。一者澄浄。二者清冷。三者甘美。四者軽軟。五者潤沢。六者安和。七者飲時除飢渇等無量過患。八者飲已定能長養諸根四大。増益種種殊勝善根。多福衆生常楽受用。是諸宝池底布金沙。
