§ 30

tad yathāpi nāma śāriputrāham etarhi teṣāṃ buddhānāṃ bhagavatām evam acintyaguṇān parikīrtayāmi / evam eva śāriputra mamāpi te buddhā bhagavanta evam acintyaguṇān parikīrtayanti / suduṣkaraṃ bhagavatā śākyamuninā śākyādhirājena kṛtam / sahāyāṃ lokadhātāv anuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhim abhisaṃbudhya sarvalokavipratyayanīyo dharmo deśitaḥ kalpakaṣāye sattvakaṣāye dṛṣṭikaṣāya āyuṣkaṣāye kleśakaṣāye /

シャーリプトラよ、あたかも、わたくしが今、かれら仏・世尊たちのもろもろの不可思議な功徳をこのように称讃しているように、まさしく同じように、シャーリプトラよ、かれら仏・世尊たちもまた、わたくしのもろもろの不可思議な功徳を次のように称讃している——『世尊・釈迦牟尼・釈迦族の大王は、甚だなしがたいことをなした。娑婆世界において、無上なる正等覚をさとってから、時代の汚濁、衆生の汚濁、見解の汚濁、寿命の汚濁、煩悩の汚濁の中で、一切の世間〔の者たち〕の信じがたい法を説かれた』〔と〕。
§18. 'And as I at present magnify here the inconceivable excellences of those blessed Buddhas, thus, O Śāriputra, do those blessed Buddhas magnify my own inconceivable excellences.
'A very difficult work has been done by Sākyamuni, the sovereign of the Sākyas. Having obtained the transcendent true knowledge in this world Sahā, he taught the Law which all the world is reluctant to accept, during this corruption of the present kalpa, during this corruption of mankind, during this corruption of belief, during this corruption of life, during this corruption of passions.

舎利子よ、それ等の仏世尊もまた我の不可思議なる功徳を讃説して居る。舎利子が申上げた。釈迦牟尼世尊よ、釈迦王が、劫濁と、煩悩濁と、衆生濁と、見濁と、命濁の時に娑婆世界に無上完全円満の菩提に明かに成仏して、一切世間と等しくない所の法を示されたことは驚歎であります。
likewise, Śāriputra, those bhagavān buddhas also praise my inconceivable qualities.” Śāriputra declared, “Bhagavān Śākyamuni, king of the Śākyas, you have fully awakened to unsurpassable, completely perfect enlightenment in this Sahā world. You have taught the Dharma that the whole world was reluctant to accept at the time of the degeneration of the eon, the degeneration of afflictions, the degeneration of beings, the degeneration of views, and the degeneration of lifespan. How marvelous indeed!”

舎利弗。如我今者称讃諸仏不可思議功徳。彼諸仏等。亦称説我不可思議功徳。而作是言。釈迦牟尼仏能為甚難希有之事。能於娑婆国土五濁悪世。劫濁。見濁。煩悩濁。衆生濁。命濁中。得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。為諸衆生。説是一切世間難信之法。

又舎利子。如我今者称揚讃歎無量寿仏極楽世界不可思議仏土功徳。彼十方面諸仏世尊。亦称讃我不可思議無辺功徳。皆作是言。甚奇希有。釈迦寂静。釈迦法王如来応正等覚明行円満善逝世間解無上丈夫調御士天人師仏世尊。乃能於是堪忍世界。五濁悪時。所謂劫濁。諸有情濁。諸煩悩濁。見濁。命濁。於中証得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。為欲方便利益安楽諸有情故。説是世間極難信法。

tan mamāpi śāriputra paramaduṣkaraṃ yan mayā sahāyāṃ lokadhātāv anuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhim abhisaṃbudhya sarvalokavipratyayanīyo dharmo deśitaḥ sattvakaṣāye dṛṣṭikaṣāye kleśakaṣāya āyuṣkaṣāye kalpakaṣāye //

シャーリプトラよ、わたくしが娑婆世界において、無上なる正等覚をさとってから、衆生の汚濁、見解の汚濁、煩悩の汚濁、寿命の汚濁、時代の汚濁の中で、一切の世間の〔者たちの〕信じがたい法を説くというのは、わたくしにとってもまた、最もなしがたいことである。」
§19. 'This is even for me, O Śāriputra, an extremely difficult work that, having obtained the transcendent true knowledge in this world Sahā, I taught the Law which all the world is reluctant to accept, during this corruption of mankind, of belief, of passion, of life, and of this present kalpa.'

世尊がこのように仰せられた。舎利子よ、五濁の時、世界に我はその娑婆世界に無上完全円満の菩提に明らかに成仏して、一世間と等しくないところの法を示すそのことは最も為し難いことをしたのである。
The Bhagavān replied, “Śāriputra, having fully awakened to unsurpassable, completely perfect enlightenment in this world, the Sahā world, at the time of the five degenerations, I have taught the Dharma that the whole world was reluctant to accept. This is the supreme feat I have accomplished.”
鳩摩羅什：T0366_.12.0348a23-26

舎利弗当知。我於五濁悪世。行此難事。得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。為一切世間。説此難信之法。是為甚難。

玄奘：T0367_.12.0351b07-19

是故舎利子。当知我今於此雑染堪忍世界五濁悪時。証得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。為欲方便利益安楽諸有情故。説是世間極難信法。甚為希有不可思議
又舎利子。於此雑染堪忍世界五濁悪時。若有浄信諸善男子或善女人。聞説如是一切世間極難信法。能生信解。受持演説。如教修行当知是人。甚為希有。無量仏所曽種善根。是人命終。定生西方極楽世界。受用種種功徳荘厳清浄仏土大乗法楽。日夜六時。親近供養無量寿仏。遊歴十方供養諸仏。於諸仏所聞法受記。福慧資糧疾得円満。速証無上正等菩提。

§ 32

idam avocad bhagavān / āttamanā āyuṣmāñ śāriputras te ca bhikṣavas te ca bodhisattvāḥ sadevamānuṣāsuragandharvaś ca loko bhagavato bhāṣitam abhyanandan //
sukhāvatīvyūho nāma mahāyānasūtram //

以上のことを世尊は説かれた。尊者シャーリプトラと、かれら比丘たちと、かれら菩薩たちと、神々・人間・阿修羅・ガンダルヴァを含む世間〔の者たち〕は、心喜び、世尊の説かれたことを歓喜した。
〈極楽の荘厳〉と名づける大乗経典〔は終わる〕。
§20. Thus spoke Bhagavat joyful in his mind. And the honourable Śāriputra, and the Bhikshus and Bodhisattvas, and the whole world with the gods, men, evil spirits and genii, applauded the speech of Bhagavat.
This is the Mahāyānasūtra
called Sukhāvatī-vyūha.

世尊がそのように仰せられた。時に長老舎利子と、大声聞のそれらと、菩菠のそれらと、神と、人と、阿修羅と、香食神等の世界は喜んで、世尊が仰せられたことを大いに讃歎しました、聖極楽の荘厳と名づくる大乗経、終
After the Bhagavān [F.200.a] had thus spoken, the whole world, including the venerable Śāriputra, the great śrāvakas, bodhisattvas, gods, humans, demigods, and gandharvas were delighted and praised highly the words spoken by the Bhagavān.
This completes the Noble Mahāyāna Sūtra “The Display of Sukhāvatī.”
