yo hi kaścid bhaiṣajyarāja bodhisatva imaṃ dharmaparyāyaṃ paścime kāle paścime samaye tathāgataparinirvrte catasrṇāṃ pariṣadāṃ saṃprakāyayitum icchet tena bodhisatvena mahāsatvena tathāgatalayanaṃ praviśitvā tathatacīvaraṃ prāvaritvā tathāgatasya siṃhāsane niṣīditvā imaṃ dharmaparyāyaṃ catasr̥ṇāṃ pariṣadāṃ saṃprakāśayitavyaḥ katamaṃ ca bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatānāṃ tathāgatalayanaṃ sarvasatvamaitrāvihāritā khalu punar bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatānām arhatāṃ samyaksaṃbuddhānāṃ tathāgatalayanaṃ tatra tena kulaputreṇa praveṣṭavyaṃ katamaṃ ca bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatānāṃ tathāgatacīvaraṃ yad idaṃ mahākṣāntisauravyaṃ bho・punar bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatānāṃ tathāgatacīvaraṃ taṃ tena kulaputreṇa tathāgatacīva(raṃ) prrāvaritavyaṃ katamaṃ ca bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatasyta dhā(r)myaṃ siṃhāsanaṃ sarvadharmaśunyatānimittapraveśaḥ khalu punar bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatasya dhārmyaṃ siṃhāsanaṃ tatra tena kulaputreṇa niṣīditavyaṃ sthātavyaṃ ca・tatra ca niṣīditvā imaṃ dharmaparyāyaṃ catasrṇāṃ pariṣadāṃ saṃprakāśayitavyaṃ anolīnena cittena bhaiṣajyarāja bodhisatvena imaṃ dharmaparyāyaṃ saṃprakāśayitavyaṃ anyalokadhātusthitaś cāhaṃ bhaiṣajyarāja ta(sya) bodhisatvasyārthāya nirmitebhiḥ kulaputrebhiḥ pariṣadaḥ samānayiṣyāmi・nirmitāś cāsya bhikṣabhikṣuṇyupāsakopāsikāḥ saṃpreṣayiṣyāmi dharmaśravaṇāya te tasya dharmabhāṇakasya te dharmaṃ bhāṣ(y)amāṇaṃ śrutvā na pratibādhiṣyaṃti na prativahiṣyaṃti na pratikṣepsyaṃti sacet khalu punaḥ sa [d]dharmabhāṇako’raṇyagato bhaviṣyati ekako(dvitīya[ṃ] imaṃ dharmaparyāyaṃ svādhyāyanta[・]ś cintaya[ṃ]ntas tatrāpi tasyāhaṃ devanāgayakṣagandharvāsuragaruḍakinnaramahoragā(ṃ) bahavaḥ saṃpreṣayiṣyāmi dharmaśravaṇāya anya[tra]lokadhātusthitaś cāhaṃ dharmabhāṇakasya mukhadarśanaṃ kariṣyāmi yāni cāsyeto dharmaparyāyāt padavyaṃjanāni paribh(r)aṣṭāni bhaviṣyanti tāni cāsya ghaṭantasya vyāyamantasya svādhyāyaṃ karantasya pratyuccārayiṣyāmi anuiprabaddhyā cāsyemaṃ dharmaparyāyam anupradāsyāmi

yaḥ kaścid bhaiṣajyarāja bodhisatvo mahāsatvas tathāgatasya parinirvṛtasya canime kāle kaścime samaye imāṃ dharmaparyāyaṃ catasṛṇāṃ parṣadāṃ saṃprakāśayet / tena bhaiṣajyarāja bodhisatvā mahāsatvena tathāgatalayanaṃ praviṣya tathāgatacīvaraṃ prāvaritvā tathāgatāsane niṣadyāyaṃ dharmaparyāyaḥ paścāc catasṛṇāṃ ṣarṣadāṃ saṃprakāsayitavyaḥ kataraś ca bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatala(ya)naṃ sarvasatvamaitrāvihāraḥ / khalu puna(r) bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatalayanaṃ tatra tena kulaputreṇa praveṣṭavyaṃ katamac ca bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatacīvaraṃ mahākṣāntisauratyaṃ khal(u) punar bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatacīvaraṃ tat tena kulaputreṇa prāvaritavyaṃ katamac ca bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatasya dharmāsanam sarvadharmasūnyatāpraveśaḥ / khalu puna(r) bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatasya dharmāsanaṃ [sarvadharmasūnyatāpraveśaḥ khalu pu(na)r bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatasya dharmāsanaṃ] tatra tena kulaputreṇa ni śīditavyaṃ niśīditvā cāyaṃ dharmaparyāyaṃ catasṛṇāṃ parṣadāṃ saṃprakāsayitavyaḥ / anavalīnacittena bodhisatvena purastād bodhisatvagaṇasya bodhisatvayānasaṃprasthitānāṃ catasṛṇāṃ parṣadāṃ samprakāsayitavyānyalokadhātusthitaś cāhaṃ bhaiṣajyarāja[s] tasya kula putrasya nirmitaiḥ parṣat samāvarttayiṣyāmi nirmitāś ca bhikṣubhikṣuṇyupāsakopāsikā(ḥ) saṃpreṣayiṣyāmi dharmaśravaṇā(ya) te tasya dharmabhāṇakasya bhāṣitaṃ na pratibādhisyanti na pratikṣepsyanti / sacet khalu puna(r) araṇyagato bhaviṣyati / tatrāpy asyāhaṃ bahūn devanāgayakṣagandharvāsuragaruḍakinnaramahoragān saṃpreṣayiṣyāmi dharmaśravaṇāya / anyalokadhātusthitaś cāhaṃ bhaiṣajyarāja tasya kulaputrasya mukham upadarśayiṣyāmi yāni cāsmād dharmaparyāyāt padavyañjanāni paribhraṣṭāni bhaviṣyanti / tāni tasya svādhyāyataḥ pratyuccārayiṣyāmīti /

yaḥ kaścid bhaiṣajyarāja bodhisattvo mahāsattvas tathāgatasya parinirvṛtasya paścime kāle paścime samaye imaṃ dharmaparyāyaṃ catasṛṇāṃ parṣadāṃ saṃprakāśayet, tena bhaiṣajyarāja bodhisattvena mahāsattvena tathāgatalayanaṃ praviśya tathāgatacīvaraṃ prāvṛtya tathāgatasyāsane niṣadya ayaṃ dharmaparyāyaś catasṛṇāṃ parṣadāṃ saṃprakāśayitavyaḥ | katamaś ca bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatalayanam? sarvasattvamaitrīvihāraḥ svalu punarbhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatalayanam | tatra tena kulaputreṇa praveṣṭavyam | katamac ca bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatacīvaram? mahākṣāntisauratyaṃ khalu punarbhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatacīvaram | tattena kulaputreṇa vā kuladuhitrā vā prāvaritavyam | katamac ca bhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatasya dharmāsanam? sarvadharmaśūnyatāpraveśaḥ khalu punarbhaiṣajyarāja tathāgatasya dharmāsanam | tatra tena kulaputreṇa niṣattavyam, niṣadya cāyaṃ dharmaparyāyaścatasṛṇāṃ parṣadāṃ saṃprakāśayitavyaḥ | anavalīnacittena bodhisattvena purastādbodhisattvagaṇasya bodhisattvayānasaṃprasthitānāṃ catasṛṇāṃ parṣadāṃ saṃprakāśayitavyaḥ | anyalokadhātusthitaścāhaṃ bhaiṣajyarāja tasya kulaputrasya nirmitaiḥ parṣadaḥ samāvartayiṣyāmi | nirmitāṃś ca bhikṣubhikṣuṇyupāsakopāsikāḥ saṃpreṣayiṣyāmi dharmaśravaṇāya | te tasya dharmabhāṇakasya bhāṣitaṃ na pratibādhiṣyanti, na pratikṣepsyanti | sacetkhalu punararaṇyagato bhaviṣyati, tatrāpyahamasya bahudevanāgayakṣagandharvāsuragaruḍakinnaramahoragān saṃpreṣayiṣyāmi dharmaśravaṇāya | anyalokadhātusthitaścāhaṃ bhaiṣajyarāja tasya kulaputrasya mukhamupadarśayiṣyāmi | yāni ca asya asmād dharmaparyāyāt padavyañjanāni paribhraṣṭāni bhaviṣyanti, tāni tasya svādhyāyataḥ pratyuccārayiṣyāmi ||
Le Bôdhisattva Mahâsattva, quel qu'il soit, ô Bhâichadjyarâdja, qui, quand le Tathâgata est entré dans le Nirvâna complet, viendrait, à la fin des temps, au terme d'une époque, à expliquer cette exposition de la loi en présence des quatre assemblées, doit le faire, après être entré dans la demeure du Tathâgata, après s'être assis sur le siège de la loi du Tathâgata, après s'être couvert du vêtement du Tathâgata. Et qu'est-ce , ô Bhâichadjyarâdja, que la demeure du Tathâgata? C'est l'action d'habiter dans la charité à l'égard de tous les êtres; c'est dans cette demeure du Tathâgata que doit entrer le fils de famille. Et qu'est-ce, ô Bhâichadjyarâdja, que le siège de la loi du Tathâgata? C'est l'action d'entrer dans le vide de toutes les lois; c'est sur ce siège de la loi du Tathâgata que doit s'asseoir le fils de famille; et c'est après qu'il s'y est assis, qu'il doit expliquer cette exposition de la loi aux quatre assemblées. Et qu'est-ce, ô Bhâichadjyarâdja, que le vêtement du Tathâgata ? C'est la parure de la grande patience; c'est de ce vêtement du Tathâgata que doit se couvrir le fils de famille. Il faut que le Bôdhisattva, doué d'un esprit qui ne faiblisse jamais, explique cette exposition de la loi, en présence de la troupe des Bôdhisattvas et des quatre assemblées qui sont entrées dans le véhicule des Bôdhisattvas. Et moi, ô Bhâichadjyarâdja, me trouvant dans un autre univers, j'assurerai, par des prodiges, à ce fils de famille l'assentiment de son assemblée; je lui enverrai, pour qu'ils entendent [la loi de sa bouche], des Religieux et des fidèles des deux sexes, que j'aurai créés miraculeusement ; et ces fidèles ne se détourneront pas aux paroles de cet interprète de la loi, ils ne les mépriseront pas. Et s'il vient à se retirer dans la forêt, je lui enverrai, même en cet endroit, un grand nombre de Dêvas, de Nâgas, de Yakchas, de Gandharvas, d'Asuras, de Garudas, de Kinnaras, de Mahôragas, pour qu'ils entendent la loi. Me trouvant, ô Bhâichadjyarâdja, dans un autre univers, je me ferai voir face à face à ce fils de famille ; et les mots et les lettres qui auront été omis dans l'exposition qu'il fera de la loi, je les prononcerai de nouveau après lui, d'après son enseignement.
Any Bodhisattva Mahâsattva, Bhaishagyarâga, who after the complete extinction of the Tathâgata, in the last times, the last period shall set forth this Dharmaparyâya to the four classes of hearers, should do so, Bhaishagyariga, after having entered the abode of the Tathâgata, after having put on the robe of the Tathâgata, and occupied the pulpit of the Tathâgata. And what is the abode of the Tathâgata, Bhaishagyarâga? It is the abiding in charity (or kindness) to all beings; that is the abode of the Tathâgata, Bhaishagyarâga, which the young man of good family has to enter. And what is the robe of the Tathâgata, Bhaishagyarâga? It is the apparel of sublime forbearance; that is the robe of the Tathâgata, Bhaishagyarâga, which the young man of good family has to put on. What is the pulpit of the Tathâgata, Bhaishagyarâga? It is the entering into the voidness (or complete abstraction) of all laws (or things); that is the pulpit, Bhaishagyarâga, on which the young man of good family has to sit in order to set forth this Dharmaparyâya to the four classes of hearers. A Bodhisattva ought to propound this Dharmaparyâya with unshrinking mind, before the face of the congregated Bodhisattvas, the four classes of hearers, who are striving for the vehicle of Bodhisattvas, and I, staying in another world, Bhaishagyarâga, will by means of fictious creatures make the minds of the whole congregation favourably disposed to that young man of good family, and I will send fictious monks, nuns, male and female lay devotees in order to hear the sermon of the preacher, who are unable to gainsay or contradict him. If afterwards he shall have retired to the forest, I will send thither many gods, Nâgas, goblins, Gandharvas, demons, Garudas, Kinnaras, and great serpents to hear him preach, while I, staying in another world, Bhaishagyarâga, will show my face to that young man of good family, and the words and syllables of this Dharmaparyâya which he happens to have forgotten will I again suggest to him when he repeats his lesson.

薬王。若有善男子善女人。如来滅後。欲為四衆説是法華経者。云何応説。是善男子善女人。入如来室。著如来衣。坐如来座。爾乃応為四衆広説斯経。如来室者。一切衆生中大慈悲心是。如来衣者。柔和忍辱心是。如来座者。一切法空是。安住是中。然後以不懈怠心。為諸菩薩及四衆広説是法華経。薬王。我於余国遣化人為其集聴法衆。亦遣化比丘比丘尼優婆塞優婆夷聴其説法。是諸化人。聞法信受随順不逆。若説法者在空閑処。我時広遣天竜鬼神乾闥婆阿修羅等聴其説法。我雖在異国。時時令説法者得見我身。若於此経忘失句逗。我還為説令得具足。

仏語薬王。如来滅度之後。若有菩薩及大士等。欲以是経為四部説。著如来衣坐於世尊師子之座。然後爾乃為四部衆宣伝此経。何謂著衣於如来被服。謂忍辱柔和安雅。是則名為如来被服。其族姓子。当修此衣。何謂世尊師子之座。解一切法皆悉空寂。処無想願。是為世尊師子之座。又族姓子。当作是住所坐若茲。以此経法為比丘比丘尼清信士女天竜鬼神広分別説。其心踊躍不懐怯弱。志於大道開道四輩。其族姓子。若復処於他方世界。化作化人及与眷属比丘比丘尼清信士清信女頒宣此法。設使有聞而不楽者。吾起令楽必使愛喜。若在閑居壙野之中。有天竜神揵沓*惒阿須倫迦留羅真陀羅摩休勒。吾遣化人為説経法。雖復逈在異方刹土。普当自現令衆人見。若受此典。不識句義失其次緒。使諷学者。蒙其威神令達義次。
